Location

GAC Valley Ave is situated in the grounds of the main campus of Burgmann Anglican School in The Valley Avenue, Gungahlin.

We worship in Grace Chapel at Burgmann Anglican School.

After the service the congregation enjoy tea, coffee and conversation together.

Services & times

Each Sunday we commence our service at 9:30 am.

Every first and third Sunday the service is Holy Communion.

There is a sausage sizzle after the service on first Sunday of the month.

Every second and fourth Sunday is a service of prayer, praise, and proclamation.

Whenever there is a fifth Sunday of the month, we have a special family service.

This service is designed to meet the needs of families, particularly those with children of primary school age or younger. A Sunday School programme runs during the service.

The music we sing at 9:30 am consists of a blend of contemporary songs and old favourite hymns.

Children’s church

Activities for children are held in a room next to Grace Chapel.

Children are supervised and taught scripture by people accredited by the church and who have a current Working With Children and Vunerable People card from the ACT Government. (See Safe Ministry )

A crêche room is available for children younger than three.

All children must be registered by an adult and checked in each time they come to church.

The children join the whole congregation for a short while and, after the Kid’s Talk, head out to Children’s Church. On the Communion Sundays the children are brought back in to join in Communion, otherwise they are brought back to the Chapel when the service ends.
